will be used for music at the opening [friday night oct 8] of the 40th reunion of the Kirkwood High School class of 1964.
KHS is the arch rival of Webster Groves, you may remember them from another CBS hatchet job "16 in Webster Groves"

Your speakers look pretty neat there, OG, and almost worth the effort of trying to look 5 years older and trying to sneak in to hear!
Seriously, I live 'across the river', and am relatively new to some Altec 19s I'm coming to live with. If you ever feel like chatting, drop me an email/pm. Looking at your speakers, you might have already forgotten more about Altec than I'll ever know. After looking into mine, I'm kinda curious what are in yours.

aren't those the old Seeburg Disco speakers?

I think they had an 806 drivers on those 511b horns, and Utah branded woofers.

Yes semi altec, seeburg disco-tech.
the cabinets are 1 inch very heavy press board with formica cover and an expanded metal mesh grill [don't take anything to a beer bash that can be ruined] the Utah 15s 2 per have been swapped out for some that will handle lots of power. these really sound great in a big hall more so when one can see down the horn. they were strategically placed opposite end from the bar and food [where people were] the hall was medium live but not echo prone with acoustic tile ceiling, basket ball floor, porous block walls.
